Our instructors have been spending years teaching people young and old, experienced and inexperienced, about P.U.M.AOur Taekwon-Do classes have been running for over 30 years and we have a long history of excellence in the world of Taekwon-Do. The main instructors are Master Mark Ogborne, VII Degree, who competed internationally for many years and became a three-time world champion.
Master Ray Gayle, VIII Degree, also competed internationally for many years and was a European Taekwon-Do champion.
We have a great history in teaching martial arts, so you can learn more about us below:

MASTER RAY GAYLE

Hi, I'm Master Ray Gayle. I'm an eighth degree black belt and I'm also chairman of P.U.M.A. martial arts. I've been training in Taekwon-Do for over thirty years. I competed very successfully for a number of years at a national and international level, achieving British and European titles and the award of International Fighter of the Year. I no longer compete, but I'm devoted to passing on my knowledge of Taekwon-Do to other people. My proudest moment in Taekwon-Do was meeting, and being graded to sixth degree by the now late founder of Taekwon-Do, Major General Choi Hong Hi. I was awarded my seventh degree in April 2005 by Master Choi Jung Hwa, the son of the founder.

MASTER MARK ORGBORNE

As well as being a lifelong friend, Master Ogborne and I have been working together since we started training all those years ago. Master Ogborne is also a seventh degree black belt and is vice chairman of P.U.M.A. martial arts. Master Ogborne had a very successful competitive career and has been a world champion on three occasions. Master Ogborne was also awarded his seventh degree by Master Choi Jung Hwa.
